If you are like most in the civilized world, your diet is probably quite a bit less than pure. Meaning, although you may eat healthy, you still have toxins in your body, in part from the foods you eat. Also from the air we breathe, the water we drink(chlorinated and fluoridated waters are not clean waters ~ very harmful toxins), the clothing we wear, the bedding we sleep in.
The body absorbs minute particles which are in the air, food, and water we are in and around. Many people will argue that those are just minute particles. And yet, how many minute particles does it take to become a health hazard? We have so much in our lives that we, ideally, should be constantly detoxing.
If you would like to know just how much you need to cleanse your body, you can visit Dr Janet Starr Hull's website here, where you can ask for a hair analysis, which will show you the toxins, including heavy metals, that are in your body. Your hair is a wonderful gauge of how you are healthwise.
If you believe that fluoridated water is good for you, it may be wise for you to do some searching outside the dental industry. According to a prominent medical doctor, the ADA had a 25 year gag order on fluoride, so your dentist was not allowed to tell you the hazards. And this apparently was not the only gag order. Too much money to be made apparently, if things were left alone.
While everyone strives to have good health, not many really understand what it is. When we believe, to a large extent, we are eating healthy, living healthy, thinking healthy, we really are not. Here are some tips to better your health...

Cholesterol. Is It Really As Bad As Everyone Says?
While cholesterol may be an issue, much of the time, it is not. Here's why....
When the cholesterol in your bloodstream is free flowing, this is a very good thing. When is cholesterol a bad thing? When it is not free flowing, but rather when it's attached to the artery walls. Attached to your veins can cause issues such as heart attack and stroke, hardening of the arteries, lack of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and oxygen getting through to all the cells of your body. In short, just plain poor health.
On the other hand, if cholesterol is free flowing, this is very good, and high is not necessarily bad. Cholesterol is REQUIRED by the body to make hormones, and possibly has other functions yet unknown. As long as the LDL/HDL ratio is good, and your veins are not clogged with cholesterol, but instead have the cholesterol flowing freely in your blood, you have much going for you.
A medical doctor typically does not do a test to determine WHERE the cholesterol is, but rather how much you have, and what your ratio is. A medical doctor is not trained to heal, that is not the function of most civilized medicine. The function of civilized medicine is to push drugs and surgeries.
Your body makes cholesterol, and you get some from foods. Chicken eggs are said to be bad for the body, because they raise cholesterol. Eggs are actually an excellent food, and raise cholesterol only a small amount. If you are willing to eat eggs raw, you will do even better.

The Value Of Eggs
Did you know....
Eating eggs is not a significant cause for the raising of your cholesterol, and if it were, consider this.....cholesterol is required to create hormones in your body.
Eggs have been shown to:
* Keep your brain healthy. Choline is an important nutrient found in egg yolks as phosphatidycholine. . A cell must have this substance to be normal and healthy and to work properly. It keeps the membrane of each cell in a fluid condition.
* Phosphatidycholine is necessary for the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that carries impulses between brain cells. And acetylcholine is essential so that we can concentrate and pay attention to our tasks. It ensures that we have the ability to concentrate and retain information in our memory. Impaired memory, difficulty concentrating and cognitive decline as we age are symptoms lacking this essential nutrient. You can see why eggs can help prevent Alzheimer's.
* Improve heart health. Choline converts homocysteine into harmless material. Homocysteine is the substance that can damage your blood vessels and is a precursor to heart disease. Eggs can also decrease your risk for heart attacks and stroke thanks to the anti-clotting agent found in yolks.
* Enhance your vision. The lutein found in eggs can help prevent macular degeneration.
* Nourish expecting mothers and their babies. Egg yolks contain high levels of biotin, a B vitamin that can prevent birth defects. Egg yolks should be a baby's first animal food and can be introduced around six months.
* Aid in fat assimilation. Eggs yolks contain lecithin. In fact, lecithin is the precursor to choline, which helps lower serum cholesterol.

Want to Lose Weight? Try Vegetable Juice
Vegetable Jof uice Drinking at least one glass of low-sodium vegetable juice daily may help overweight dieters lose more weight.
In a study, adults who drank at least 8 ounces of vegetable juice as part of a diet lost 4 pounds over 12 weeks, while those who followed the same diet but did not drink the juice lost only 1 pound. The vegetable juice drinkers also significantly increased their intake of vitamin C and potassium, while decreasing their overall carbohydrate intake.
It's possible that vegetable juice helps reduce appetite. In addition, vegetable juice drinkers are more likely to get the recommended 3 to 5 servings of vegetables daily.
Fresh juice is always best.
No doubt about it, vegetable juice can help you to lose weight.
This weight loss is experienced not only by people who have that as a goal, but also by those who do not. Many -- in fact, the majority -- of people start juicing as a way to improve their health and energy. But even these folks have noticed the pounds “falling off.”
This may be a result of the fact that acids are stored in fat cells, and when the pH becomes better balanced with alkaline foods such as vegetable juices, your body will let go of fat cells and the acids they contain.
Additionally, people who are juicing are likely eating less processed food and junk food, feeling better and having more energy, and as a result are more active, which would contribute to shedding excess pounds. - Dr Joseph Mercola, M.D.
