Cholesterol. Is It Really As Bad As Everyone Says?

While cholesterol may be an issue, much of the time, it is not. Here's why....

When the cholesterol in your bloodstream is free flowing, this is a very good thing. When is cholesterol a bad thing? When it is not free flowing, but rather when it's attached to the artery walls. Attached to your veins can cause issues such as heart attack and stroke, hardening of the arteries, lack of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and oxygen getting through to all the cells of your body. In short, just plain poor health.

On the other hand, if cholesterol is free flowing, this is very good, and high is not necessarily bad. Cholesterol is REQUIRED by the body to make hormones, and possibly has other functions yet unknown. As long as the LDL/HDL ratio is good, and your veins are not clogged with cholesterol, but instead have the cholesterol flowing freely in your blood, you have much going for you.

A medical doctor typically does not do a test to determine WHERE the cholesterol is, but rather how much you have, and what your ratio is. A medical doctor is not trained to heal, that is not the function of most civilized medicine. The function of civilized medicine is to push drugs and surgeries.

Your body makes cholesterol, and you get some from foods. Chicken eggs are said to be bad for the body, because they raise cholesterol. Eggs are actually an excellent food, and raise cholesterol only a small amount. If you are willing to eat eggs raw, you will do even better.
