To Smoke Or Not To Smoke

I went to the DEA's website several years ago to find some information. I got a bit more than I expected. One of the things I found were photos, or perhaps the better terminology would be age enhancement photos, of those who use meth. The site showed a 20 year old woman who was a meth user, and then enhanced her, assuming she was continually using meth, for the next ten years. She looked at the age of 30, in the enhancement photos, like she was way past 70. Cigarette smoking is very similar. The skin ages very quickly, as does the rest of the body.

The reason why things like this adversely affect your looks, and your health in general, is because of the toxins. These toxins damage your cells so they cannot accept oxygen the way they need. So the cells die very prematurely. Which tends to shorten your life, shorten your health, shorten your breath, help you lose organs you can't afford to lose, like kidneys and lungs, and the smoke smell is highly hazardous to a growing number of people. Many people have MCS, or Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Those who don't have this issue don't generally understand the hazards of it. For those who have it, things like cigarette smoke, perfumes, like one of the worst called Exclamation, car exhaust, diesel fumes, can be deadly to people by blocking their airways so they simply cannot breathe. Don't believe me? Ask someone who is chemically sensitive.

Many women who wear stronger smelling perfumes cause many people to move away, just a smokers do. A large number of people when grocery shopping, cannot go down the detergent aisle, or at least, have a difficult time doing so. All because these are chemicals which the body already has way too much of. And it's not just the women's perfumes, this also includes men's colognes.

When we choose to avoid the chemicals, the chemicals will start to go away in our lives. Meaning, you vote with your dollars. In every sense of those words. Even politicians are frequently bought into office(usually by corporations gifting them with bribe money). And you thought you elected them, didn't you? I watched as a large entity "gifted" one now former member of the government with $500,000, and 7 more with a total of $2.7 million. Those can only be classified as bribes. Even if you were born under a rock this morning, it's still a bribe. And those weren't even the tip of the iceberg on government briberies. They happen just about every single day. When the lobbyists pay off congressional members, or the president, there is an expected return on investment to the lobbyists company(s).

But back to the point, it is best not to smoke cigarettes. The reasons why they are hazardous boils down to just one reason. They are loaded with chemicals. And as I implied, when the body is already overloaded with chemicals, it is letting you know it simply cannot take anymore chemicals. If you need help in stopping smoking, contact me. I will show you how to do this with no chemicals, and fairly quickly.

Food For Thought....

“Individuals who practice just four healthy behaviors may live 14 years longer than those who don’t, according to a released report. More than 20,000 participants between the ages of 45 and 79 years were followed for an average of 11 years. Questionnaires awarded one point each for not smoking, being physically active, consuming alcohol in moderation, and having a plasma vitamin C level consistent with eating five servings of vegetables or fruit per day.

Those who scored no points on the questionnaires were four times more likely to die than those who scored four points, and those with a score of two were twice as likely to die. Participants whose score was zero had the same risk of dying as subjects who were 14 years older who had practiced all four healthy behaviors. These findings indicate that combined behavioral factors significantly impact longevity.”

And....did you know?
“Eating antioxidant-rich blueberries raises protective HDL cholesterol and lowers blood pressure.

· Folic acid supplements boost fertility and sperm quality in men.

· More than three-quarters of the 4,000 mg of sodium we eat daily comes from processed foods and restaurant meals.

· Omega-3 fatty acids decrease risk of type 1 diabetes in genetically at-risk children.”

Another Reason To Be Happy

Stress Causes Fat to Stick Around

"Researchers at Ohio State University have found the first evidence that short periods of psychological stress can cause the body to take longer to clear heart-damaging fats from the bloodstream, according to a study published in the journal Psychophysiology.

The study of 70 healthy, middle-aged, nonsmoking men and women measured how quickly triglycerides - a type of fat linked to heart disease - cleared out of the bloodstream during a stressful test as compared to a period when the subjects rested. The results showed that, for all 70 participants, stress caused triglycerides to stay in the bloodstream longer.

In other words, 'if a person has a high-fat snack or meal during a time of stress, that fat is going to be circulating in the blood for a longer period of time,' says psychologist Catherine Stoney, Ph.D., lead author of the study."
