How To Clean Your Living Area Without Using Chemicals

I am a fond believer in using non-toxic substances, as opposed to chemicals such as 409, bleach, Lysol, etc. It is well known these products are designed to sterilize, to kill. And being chemicals, they cannot be good for your body or brain.

So what is a person to use, instead of toxic materials? Actually, there are many natural variations, many of which work better than the toxic stuff. For instance, have you ever used true lemon oil for cleaning grease? It works faster than almost anything for this.

I had a former employer literally have his eyes bug out of his head, when he saw me put therapeutic quality lemon oil on my greasy hands, rub them together, and within 2 seconds they were clean. He exclaimed: "I don't believe what I just saw"! I always have therapeutic quality on hand, because it is more assured to be free of chemicals. It's gotten pretty difficult on this planet to have no chemicals in anything, even when you grow it yourself, due to chemicals in our air space, from planes, factories, cars, etc.

If you find you have a mold problem in your refrigerator from produce gone bad, the essential oil blend of Thieves, is known by many to kill fungus. I use this blend quite a bit, mostly for personal health. I have used it inside the refrigerator though, with great success. Someone told me they diffused it into their bathroom for 24 hours when their contractor found they had mold in the wall behind the shower, and it killed all the mold.

This site has some good suggestions also, for using "green" cleaning products.
