In many parts of the world, wintertime comes and goes, just like some people's skin rashes. And for many, wintertime is a time for depression. The lack of natural sunlight is the prime cause of depression. Sunlight is considered by many to be the "happy vitamin:. And since we generally cannot get vitamin D from the sun in the winter months, which is much of the reason depression happens in the winter, we should if possible, add full spectrum lighting into our homes and workplaces. Taking oral vitamin D can also help not only this, but vitamin D in general also helps one avoid the flu bug. Beats toxic un-proven vaccines for sure.
The flu shot, or vaccine, is never for the current strain of flu, because no one knows what the current strain is going to be. So the chances of a flu shot being effective are slim at best, and due to the toxic nature of these shots, they are hazaradous in all respects.
Using vitamin D is always helpful, provided of course, you don't take too much. Overdosing on oral vitamin D can be dangerous. So always have your blood tested regularly if you are taking oral supplementations of D. You can also watch the foods you eat. For instance, using spices such as Cinnamon, Oregano and Cloves, can be very helpful, since they are known to kill all known viruses and harmful bacteria.
If you choose something stronger, I suggest using therapeutic quality aromatherapy. Since many people have no idea what this truly is, I'll give a short explanation. Aromatherapy, in its therapeutic state, can be very helpful to the body and mind. Bear in mind, in no way am I stating that these products can cure anything, for this is not true. Nothing can cure you, but you. Using tools to help you cure yourself just gets you there faster. The body is an excellent and very precise machine, and knows exactly how to heal itself. We just need to listen and help it do so. I use therapeutic oils including Lemon, Clove, Peppermint, Oregano, Cinnamon Bark, Frankincense, and combination of blends including Thieves, Purification.
Brunswick Labs, which formulated the ORAC scale for the USDA, which is a rating of the effectiveness, or power, of foods and herbs in their anti-oxidative capacities, show that Clove oil in its therapeutic state, is one of the highest known anti-oxidants, far higher than blueberries, or pomegranite. Brunswick Labs stopped allowing public viewing of their results in 2004. When I contacted them about this, they told me the numbers were being used unscrupulously. Which I had already seen with a company promoting someone else's product line. The higher the ORAC number, the more powerful of an anti-oxidant it is. This site from the USDA lists ORAC numbers for over 200 foods. Clove is not listed, and if it were, it would not show as an overly high number, because Clove oil is far more potent due to its concentration.
I take Clove oil internally, daily. I find it is superb for my needs. I do this by putting between 10 and 20 drops in a 00 capsule. However, you must be warned, that if you attempt this, you must NOT start off with more than about 3 drops. Taking more than 3 drops to start will cause a very rapid increase of waste matter created by killing off bacteria, viruses and fungus. You are very likely to get very sick if you take very much to start. You must work up to the amounts I take, if you want to take this much. Just looking out for you.
Because of what I do with my health, even though I spent the first 40 years of my life being sick way too much of the time, now I do not get sick with anything. No flu. No colds, No pneumonia. Even though therapeutic quality aromtherapy and organic foods are a bit more spendy than commercially grown, they sure beat the cost of things like terminal cancers and dementia, don't they? I'm not saying you cannot get sick eating organic or using aromatherapy. I'm saying your chances of getting sick can be considerably less if you use these. You vote with your dollars. Support your local organic farmers. You need them more than they need you. You just may not realize it yet.
And I recently discovered in my research, that the term "All Natural", used in foods, means essentially nothing. These are just commercial growers and packagers that are using marketing techniques and consumer confucion to sell products at a premium price. "All Natural" generally has pesticides and herbicides, and is generally, just most commercially grown crops, genetically modified. A site that would be wise for the health conscious to read, and shows the "All Natural" connection, is Cornucopia.org.
While everyone strives to have good health, not many really understand what it is. When we believe, to a large extent, we are eating healthy, living healthy, thinking healthy, we really are not. Here are some tips to better your health...
