Most people get a headache from time to time. And most people take pain killers to get rid of the headache. But what good is a painkiller for a headache? A headache is letting us know that something is wrong. Frequently, a headache is a foods related issue. We had something to eat that our bodies didn't like, or didn't want at that time, because the body already had enough stuff in it and hasn't yet been able to get rid of enough of it. Your body is never in short supply of aspirin, or tylenol, or advil. Do you need what you're not short on? The headache may be caused by stress, or perhaps a pinched nerve.
Taking a drug for a headache, is similar to filling a car tire with more air than it is designed to handle. While more air may, or may not, cause the car to ride more smoothly, it will almost certainly cause the tire to "tire" out, faster.
A drug may lessen the pain, or, it may cause more pain, or/and it may kill you. It's your choice. Take it or don't. We know from just this one example(and there are thousands more) that since Bayer Industries, under their partner name of Cutter Industries, sold drugs with AIDS tainted blood, that taking drugs cannot be a wise choice. Watch this video from MSNBC to see just one issue of what Bayer is guilty of.
And Bayer is just one of many drug companies who do things like this. They just happened to get caught in the act. Bayer was caught doing this in 2003. At least, that was the first time I learned about it, when it actually made the national news in the U.S. The New York Times published a story on this in May, 2003. It's a long story. You can read the post here. I could spend 8 hours in a classroom just teaching the hazards of pharmaceutical drugs.
So what is a person to do if they don't use drugs? I learned a method from one of my mentors, Dr Joe Vitale. Dr Vitale is an author of far too many books to list, but a few of them would be:
~ Attract Money Now
~ The Missing Secret
~ The Attractor Factor
~ The Awakening Course
Along with several movies including:
~ The Compass
~ The Opus
~ The Secret
I just like to give credit where credit is due. But for right now, back to the headache issue. Joe taught in one of his books, that a very simple method of getting rid of a headache, is first of all, close your eyes, focus on the pain, determine how wide it is in your head, how deep it goes into your head, how much pain there is. Then, with your eyes continually closed, just focus on "being" in the moment, and mentally ask your headache why it is there? What is it trying to let you know? And listen. Not so much for words, but for feeling, for insight.
Then do the exercise again. You may find that already your headache appears to be smaller. And perhaps not quite as intense. Follow through with this exercise and then do it again. If you actually focus on this, your headache should be gone fairly rapidly. I know. It worked very well for me. And I rarely get headaches. Will it work on a migraine? If you let it.
If you have a migraine, and you just don't feel like giving your focus to anything at all, you can also use an essential oil blend called M-Grain, formulated and distributed by Young Living Essential Oils. Simply by putting a drop or two in the palm of your hand, and breathing, when I used to be a victim of migraines, caused them to go away rapidly. I would have migraines almost nothing would touch. When I first used this oil blend at the end of 1999, I was at my job, had taken extra strength migraine drugs for over 24 hours, with no results. And yet, after 15 minutes of applying and breathing the oil blend as I suggest above, the migraine was 100% gone. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it:). It really does work. I only had to use this blend about 4 more times before I discovered what caused the migraines. Then I eliminated them altogether.
So if you have a need for a headache remedy, or a migraine remedy, can it hurt to at least utilize the first method? I know first hand they both work. I have not had a migraine for aver 10 years now, because I've learned how to eradicate them. Headaches are rare for me anymore.
