Most of us know that detoxing is an important part of our lives. And yet, not all that many of us do it, at least, not very often. So let's make this easier. Forget all those detox packages you see in the stores. Forget pharmaceutical drugs. Forget that you had pesticides in your food this morning. Instead, learn the quick and easy, daily detox, that takes seconds. This is the same detox I went through many years ago when I did a cleanse of years of taking in major amounts of Nutrasweet It was that experience of that cleanse that also eliminated my mercury toxicity symptoms. I had every known mercury toxicity symptom, and they were all gone within 14 weeks of the beginning of my detox, which took me about 3 seconds, 3 times per day.

Pesticides and Parkinsons Disease
“Weed-free lawns, blemish-free produce, and bug-free blooms come with a high price tag: an increased risk of Parkinson’s disease (PD), according to researchers from Virginia Tech, during a meeting of the American Chemical Society. They reported that exposure to insecticides causes a cascade of damage targeting brain pathways involved in PD. And a recent long-term study found that the death rate from PD was 40 percent higher in California counties that used agricultural pesticides compared to counties with no such use.
To limit your exposure to pesticides, choose organic versions of the most heavily treated foods: strawberries, bell peppers, spinach, cherries, peaches, celery, apples, apricots, green beans, and cucumbers. Wash produce with a special rinse such as Healthy Harvest Fruit and Vegetable Rinse, available in health food stores. To control aphids, beetles, caterpillars, mildew and rust in your garden, use pesticide alternatives containing neem oil, jojoba oil, and/or canola oil. For weed control, place four sheets of wet newspaper around plants, then cover with leaves. By season’s end, the paper will be decomposed and can be mixed into the soil.” (Int J Epidemiol 2000; 29:323-9; beyondpesticides.org)

Gardening
While many people love to garden, many also use toxic materials on their gardens. Is this a problem? It is. Many people have said they have no other way to control insects, and that the weeds just get out of hand. Perhaps they just need to be in the garden more, and pull the weeds? Perhaps they have not heard about companion planting?
If you take the time to do like I do, as I call it, "play in the garden", you find that it can be relaxing. To top that off, because everything in life is energy in nature, it is has been shown that having our bare skin in contact with the earth is a very good thing. Doing this helps to balance you electrical system. So rather than using a hoe to get rid of all the weeds, try being in the garden barefoot, and just pulling weeds.
This takes too much time you say? Of course it takes more. Did our ancestors from 100 years ago have pesticides and herbicides to give them more time? Of course not. And they were considerably healthier for that, and generally in better spirits because of that. Don't buy into the "people are living longer now because of drugs and technology. They may be living a little longer, but much of the time living that life in disease. Our ancestors did not have the diseases we have today, mostly because they did not have the pesticides, herbicides; the genetically modified stuff Monsanto is pushing all over the world, along with all pharmaceutical drugs which are nothing more than a conglomeration of laboratory made chemical compounds.
I defy anyone to show me a pharmaceutical drug on the market which has something that is truly natural, and good for you. I seriously doubt that could ever happen, knowing what I know about the drug companies. Besides, out of over a thousand drugs I have analyzed ingredients on, not one was anything but chemicals.
Being in the garden tending to your food gives you a sense of accomplishment. It also gives you some room for peace, away from the television news, and the drug commercials which entails a huge amount of time in the commercial breaks. It also gets you out in the sun, if you can manage during the day. And exposure to the sun helps you in far more ways than you might be able to imagine.
You can find online, websites which will guide you into companion planting. In other words, planting certain plants near each other attracts the insects beneficial to your garden. Beneficial in that they help the plants growth, and also because they attack the insects which tend to do harm to your plants. Using pesticides kills them all. Including the microbial bacteria in the soil, which the plants desperately need. And the honeybees, which are our prime pollenators. Without pollenators, our food supply drops dramatically. Want to go pollenate by hand every plant you own? That is not one of the more fun chores.
Growing organically, or naturally, is by far better than going to the grocery store and buying the food. Better because you know the quality of your food. With the world's largest chemical company controlling the food supplies, and genetically adding some very toxic stuff including rat genes and viruses, along with human dna(still want to know what they have done to the human dna to make them put it into the food supply. Obviously they are in cahoots with the drug companies, to create more disease amongst the people).
Better because your food is fresh. What is in stores is rarely fresh. If you have space for a garden, but don't garden, try it. You might actually find you like it. I always have. You can save your seeds as well, for the next season.

Pests In The Home
Many people in the northern parts of the world are finding that ants have found their way into the home. But did they? Exterminators tell us that ants have a very low tolerance to temperature change. In other words, they need to stay within a certain temperature. So when it's still 20 degrees outside, and you see ants inside, it's not because they crawled in from their hole in the ground. Instead, they are probably either in your walls, floor, or attic areas.
And since using pesticides is never a good idea, especially indoors, how does one get rid of the little critters? You can kill them, which is probably about the easiest for most people, by simply putting out borax mixed with sugar or something like cornmeal. The reason for borax is, that it will kill them shortly after they ingest it. The reason for the addition of something like sugar or cornmeal, is to dilute it abit, to ensure they make it back to the queen. They take the food to the queen, give her some, and both die.
If you use borax alone, the queen may never be affected and the problem will only appear to start to diminish, then build right back up. I'm not in favor of killing much of anything, but sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. Until we can find a better alternative. By the way, borax will probably kill your dog also, given enough, so be sure to keep it away from pets.
Did you know???? A bit or horseradish, taken daily, will stop candida overgrowth? But...if you are not used to taking it, you should start out with a small amount, or you are very likely to feel very sick quickly. That's because it kills off the harmful bacteria in your system faster than you system can handle the toxins given off by the dying bacteria. Horseradish will also help lower blood sugars in diabetics.
Since no one really knows what it going to happen soon in the world, as far as energy is concerned, would it not be a good idea to find out how to generate at least some of your own? Click here to see how you can do just that.

What Is Monsanto?
Bluntly speaking, Monsanto is a disease and death causing company, that has in large degree, taken over the FDA and much of the U.S. Congress. Those details are obvious to anyone who pays attention. But, it gets better.
Do you know of someone with diabetes? Did you know, those with diabetes have a predominately higher incidence of PCB's in their blood than those without? And guess who makes the PCB's? Monsanto. Check this link to see the info given us by the U.S. government on what I've just said.
If that weren't enough, and maybe it was for you, but if not, perhaps you should read the story on what happened in Alabama, where a few thousand residents of a small town filed suits against Monsanto for the disasters directly associated with PCB's. That story is here. It is well documented that Monsanto HID the fact that the PCB's were dangerous, as you can see by this story.
Whatever you do, don't let Monsanto Corporation get anywhere near your locality. They will destroy it, just as they have been doing for years with our food supply. They are the reason we have genetically modified foods, of which zero safety testing has been done. You may not think this would be a bad thing, but....in genetically modified foods, you find bacteria, viruses, rat genes, and much more, that should never be in the human body. This is done purposely, and not for your good. But to make money in a huge variety of ways. As a group, we can alter Monsanto's incredibly destructive actions on our planet. Don't buy anything genetically modified, most of which at the moment, is corn, soy, cottonseed oil, potatoes; and don't buy their extremely toxic pesticides and herbicides. Buy only organic. Not "made with organic", but ORGANIC. This will ensure, by law, that you are not getting genetically modified foods.
One good thing though, Monsanto did get sued, and lost, due to the Anniston, Alabama case. For a total of $700 million. My thoughts are that amount should have been more like $700 trillion. Because those that purposely poison people should be shown no mercy. They don't show us any. Why should we show them any?

The Herb Turmeric
This Potent Spice Taken as Little as Once a Week Can Fight Dementia
Curry spice, turmeric, curcumin. New research shows that eating curry once or twice a week could help prevent the onset of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The key reason is curcumin, a component of the spice turmeric.
Curcumin prevents the spread of amyloid protein plaques, which are thought to cause dementia. Amyloid plaques, along with tangles of nerve fibers, contribute to the degradation of the wiring in brain cells.
There is evidence that people who eat a curry meal two or three times a week have a lower risk of dementia. Researchers are currently testing the impact of higher doses, such as the equivalent of going on a curry spree for a week, to see if they can maximize the effect.

Dr. Mercola's Comments( http://www.mercola.com )
I know many outstanding clinicians and health experts and it is amazing how the vast majority of them are in complete agreement that the active ingredient of turmeric, curcumin, the pigment that gives spicy turmeric its yellow-orange color, may be one of the most useful spices for health out there.
For years now turmeric, with its active ingredient curcumin, has shown powerful benefits to your brain health. One of the ways that it works, similar to vitamin D, is modulating large numbers of your genes.
The potential healing power of this spice, which is an important part of Eastern cultural traditions including traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, perhaps first came about when it was noticed that the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease among older adults in India is more than four times less than the rate in the United States.
Why such a significant difference?
Some researchers believe the answer for this drastic disparity in Alzheimer's patients is a direct result of curcumin.
The researchers in this most recent study said curcumin appears to prevent the spread of amyloid protein plaques, which are thought to cause dementia in your brain.
In 2004, meanwhile, a study involving genetically engineered mice suggested that curcumin could inhibit the accumulation of destructive beta amyloids -- a component of the neurofibrillary tangles and plaques attributed to Alzheimer's disease -- in the brains of Alzheimer's patients, as well as break up existing plaques.
Based on the findings, researchers determined:
• Curcumin is more effective in inhibiting the formation of the protein fragments than many other potential Alzheimer's treatments
• The low molecular weight and polar structure of curcumin allows it to penetrate the blood-brain barrier effectively and bind to beta amyloid
• Alzheimer's symptoms caused by inflammation and oxidation are eased by curcumin's powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties
It seems, too, that even eating curry just a couple of times a year may offer some benefit. In one study that tested the brain power of more than 1,000 Asian people, those who ate curry even just once every six months had better results than those who said they "never or rarely" ate it!
Further, UCLA researchers tested the effect of curcumin on isolated cells called macrophages (part of your body's immune system that eliminates waste products like the disease-causing amyloid beta) in blood samples taken from a half-dozen Alzheimer's patients for a day.
The blood samples from three Alzheimer's patients improved dramatically after being treated with curcumin, improving the digestion of the amyloid beta cells by the macrophages, present from birth in your body's innate immune system.
One important fact: Blood samples from younger patients responded better to curcumin, meaning the earlier Alzheimer's is recognized, the better the curry chemical appears to work.
“Holy Powder’s” Benefits Reach Far Beyond Your Brain
People in India refer to turmeric as “holy powder” because it has such a broad range of health effects. In fact, curcumin has been shown to influence more than 700 genes, with benefits that include:
• Strengthening and improving your digestion
• Supporting healthy liver function and detoxification
• Purifying your blood
• Fighting cancer and arthritis
• Anti-inflammatory properties
Further, evidence suggests turmeric may play a beneficial role in the following diseases:
• Cystic fibrosis
• Type 2 diabetes
• Crohn’s disease
• Psoriasis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Cataracts
• Gallstones
• Muscle regeneration
• Inflammatory bowel disease
To take advantage of some of these benefits you can absolutely use turmeric in your cooking, and in case you haven’t tried it, it has a warm, peppery flavor. However, be sure to choose a pure turmeric powder rather than a curry powder, as at least one study has found curry powders tend to contain very little curcumin compared to turmeric powder.
Be sure to listen to your body as always. If you love curry then feel free to indulge in it often. But if turmeric is a spice you do not enjoy it may be a sign that it’s not right for your body. If you are not one who enjoys the flavor of curry, you can also get the benefits of turmeric by taking it in a high-quality, organic supplement form.
Ten Important Ways to Avoid the Coming Alzheimer’s Epidemic
By 2010 there will be 500,000 new cases of Alzheimer’s disease diagnosed each year, so NOW is the time to start taking action. Fortunately, your lifestyle can make a major difference in your risk of this disease. The tips that follow will bolster your brain health and keep your mind in top working order even as you get older.
1. Optimize your vitamin D levels through safe sun exposure, a safe tanning bed and/or vitamin D supplements.
2. Eat a nutritious diet with plenty of vegetables based on your nutritional type, and pay special attention to avoiding sugar.
3. Eat plenty of high-quality, animal-based omega-3 fats in the form of krill oil. Avoid most fish (high in omega-3, but often contaminated with mercury).
4. Avoid and remove mercury from your body. Dental amalgam fillings are one of the major sources of mercury, however you should be healthy prior to having them removed. Once you have adjusted to following the diet described in Take Control of Your Health, you can follow the mercury detox protocol and then find a qualified biological dentist to have your amalgams removed.
(Be sure to only use a high-quality biologically trained dentist who is familiar with the removal of amalgam fillings or your health could get ruined.)
5. Avoid aluminum, such as in antiperspirants, cookware, etc.
6. Exercise for three to five hours per week. According to one study, the odds of developing Alzheimer's were nearly quadrupled in people who were less active during their leisure time, between the ages of 20 and 60, compared with their peers.
7. Avoid flu vaccinations as they contain both mercury and aluminum!
8. Wild blueberries, which have high anthocyanin and antioxidant content, are known to guard against Alzheimer's and other neurological diseases.
9. Challenge your mind daily. Mental stimulation, such as traveling, learning to play an instrument or doing crossword puzzles, is associated with a decreased risk of Alzheimer's. Researchers suspect that mental challenge helps to build up your brain, making it less susceptible to the lesions associated with Alzheimer's disease.
10. Avoid fluoride, which is another powerful neurotoxin. The most common sources would be in your water and toothpaste. But it is also a part of some antibiotics (like Cipro), soy protein, and pesticides, so seek to have as much of your food organically grown as possible.
