Many people in the northern parts of the world are finding that ants have found their way into the home. But did they? Exterminators tell us that ants have a very low tolerance to temperature change. In other words, they need to stay within a certain temperature. So when it's still 20 degrees outside, and you see ants inside, it's not because they crawled in from their hole in the ground. Instead, they are probably either in your walls, floor, or attic areas.
And since using pesticides is never a good idea, especially indoors, how does one get rid of the little critters? You can kill them, which is probably about the easiest for most people, by simply putting out borax mixed with sugar or something like cornmeal. The reason for borax is, that it will kill them shortly after they ingest it. The reason for the addition of something like sugar or cornmeal, is to dilute it abit, to ensure they make it back to the queen. They take the food to the queen, give her some, and both die.
If you use borax alone, the queen may never be affected and the problem will only appear to start to diminish, then build right back up. I'm not in favor of killing much of anything, but sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. Until we can find a better alternative. By the way, borax will probably kill your dog also, given enough, so be sure to keep it away from pets.
Did you know???? A bit or horseradish, taken daily, will stop candida overgrowth? But...if you are not used to taking it, you should start out with a small amount, or you are very likely to feel very sick quickly. That's because it kills off the harmful bacteria in your system faster than you system can handle the toxins given off by the dying bacteria. Horseradish will also help lower blood sugars in diabetics.
Since no one really knows what it going to happen soon in the world, as far as energy is concerned, would it not be a good idea to find out how to generate at least some of your own? Click here to see how you can do just that.
