“The most commonly diagnosed childhood ailment in the U.S. today is pediatric obesity. The number of children who are overweight has doubled during the past three decades. One child in five is overweight, regardless of race or gender. Diseases that were once limited to adults, like type-2 diabetes, are now increasingly occurring in children.
Robert Lustig of the University of California Children’s Hospital says that changes in food processing during the past 30 years, particularly the removal of fiber and the addition of sugar to a wide variety of foods that never before included sugar, have created an environment in which our foods are essentially addictive.
Food manufacturing practices have created a ‘toxic environment’ that dooms children to obesity, he adds. ‘In particular, too much fructose and not enough fiber appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic.’”

Ideally, we should all eat primarily fresh foods. Since this is unlikely, at least we can offset some of the harmful effects of the packaged products by consuming powdered herbs. These, in decent quality, can be very helpful in helping to restore the alkaline balance of the body, which is necessary. They can also help to keep and possibly restore waning vision, mental capacity, memory, even hearing. Some very good, and relatively inexpensive herbs I use are located here.

Mental Issues
Many people, Americans in particular, suffer from mental disorders, including Bi-Polar issues. If you want to check out some info on Bi-Polar help, try this link.
Certain therapeutic quality essential oils may also help issues related to Bi-Polar, including the oils of Lavender, Lime, Lemongrass, Frankincense; the blends of Peace & Calming, and Brain Power.
Utilizing essential oils for problems like Bi-Polar issues may sometimes be best used by simply breathing. If you do not have a diffuser, you can simply put a drop or twon in the palm of your hands, rub them together, then cup over the nose and inhale deeply. Keep breathing this way for several minutes. It will help you in ways you may not even anticipate.
