If you are concerned about the flu, and about the U.S. governemnts decision to declare a state of emergency for swine flu, there really is not much to fear. Fear is simply a state of mind. Did you know....
The more energy you give a thought, the more likely that thought will come true?
You can think yourself well, and you can think yourself sick?
The sun's effect on the human body causing production of vitamin D within the body, is an extremely powerful flu deterent?(notice flu is generally not an issue in the summer months)
Herbs such as Pau d'Arco, Caprylic Acid, Black Walnut, Oregano, Cloves and Cinnamon all have powerful immune stimulating and anti-candidal effects on the body?
Fermented foods are very important for the digestive systems health, which is where approximately 80% of our immune system resides?
If you live life with a positive attitude, stay focused, eat as healthy a diet as you know how and can, and keep the harmful and beneficial bacteria in the digestive system in check, your body and mind will thank you. All you have to do is listen to it, and be grateful.
A very effective method of getting positive and keeping positive, is to be around positive people and turn OFF mainstream media.
One food that is said that the Chinese people who reside near the Mongolian River who consume Wolfberry(aka, Goji or Lycium berry), never get disease. Not sometimes.....never. Goji is a colloquial name for Lycium, commonly called Wolfberry. This food is considered a perfect food, with far more vitamin C than oranges, more useable protein than beef, and more carotene than carrots. You can find this food for the least cost, in organic form, here. Wolfberry, as a food, is also the highest known anti-oxidant. There are other, much higher anti-oxidants, but those are in therapeutic quality essential oils, and the mushroom Chaga.

Do You Have Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a skin disease that most commonly appears as “plaque psoriasis,” which is raised, inflamed red patches covered by a silvery white scale. It can appear anywhere on your body.
Psoriasis is not contagious and may seem like an unattractive and inconvenient part of your life, but it can become more serious. Psoriasis can develop into psoriatic arthritis, a condition characterized by inflammation, pain and swelling of the joints.
This chronic disease affects some 7.5 million Americans, and it appears that psoriasis is a more serious diagnosis than previously thought.
New research shows that psoriasis puts you at risk for:
* Heart disease
* Cancer
* High blood pressure
* Depression
* Obesity
* Crohn’s disease
With documented risks like these, psoriasis is more than just a cosmetic disease.
Common over-the-counter and prescription treatments of psoriasis aim to slow cell turnover and reduce scaling, but experts have not yet found an “official cure”.
The Inflammation Connection
Psoriasis is linked to systemic inflammation. Inflammation is your body’s response to stress from diet, lifestyle and/or environment. It causes many diseases like arthritis and cancer, as well as psoriasis and general aging.
One of the main causes of inflammation is low-grade bacterial, viral or fungal infections in our blood, tissues and cells.
Common treatment of psoriasis includes anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin and ibuprofen, but these just temporarily ease the symptoms.
Some things you can do to help eliminate psoriasis are to cleanse the liver using foods such as organic grapefruit, wolfberry(known under the colloquial name of goji berry), lemon, and any sulfur foods such as onions & garlic. Also using black cumin, or black seed oil, can help.

Raw or Cooked Foods?
Raw foods are, without question, by far the best you can eat. Which is not to say you have to eat only raw. The more raw food you can consume compared to cooked though, will only help you. It will help you in more ways than you might imagine.
For instance, eating a fair amount of raw foods can help you dream more, and remember them. Raw food consumption will almost unquestionably give you more energy and endurance. Raw foods will give you better thinking capability. And perhaps most importantly, raw foods will give your body the tools it needs to help prevent illness of most kinds.
I say most kinds, because there are other factors involved, such as chemicals, pharmaceutical drugs, etc. They will all hurt your health. Pharmaceutical drugs for instance, are known to be fairly common at giving brain fog, losing mental capacity including memory, creating new diseases, and more. Those drugs are nothing more than chemicals in pills or shots.
Some great health aids you can use, which have been mentioned before on this blog, include Barley Grass, Wheat Grass, Chlorella, Goji Berry(also called Lycium or Wolfberry), and many others.
When you consume mostly cooked foods, you are missing some of life's greatest gifts, such as many of the B vitamins, vitamin C, all enzymes, and more. For someone to tell a vegetarian they do not get enough vitamin B12 simply because they are not eating meat is a lack of knowledge.
Eating meat, unless it is close to raw, will not have B12. Like many vitamins, this one is destroyed at temperatures generally used to cook the meat. Vegetarians who know what they are doing seldom are lacking for these vitamins. They generally have more than others who are not vegetarian.
If you know someone who may benefit from reading my posts, please send them this way. I am very appreciative that you have taken the time to read my writings. May your day be sunny and cheerful, and your heart be filled with gratitude.
