The Rainbow Effect

In our searches for ways to heal, we find countless methods from those who've gone before, most of which work, at least to some degree, for all of us. For instance, we know that:

The use of herbs can be very helpful and smart

The use of therapeutic quality aromatherapy is oftentimes more than just very helpful, it can be lifesaving.

We find that sounds, such as beautiful music, or the singing of a bird, or laughing of a young child, can be sedating and invigorating.

We find that color can be a profound tool in the healing processes.

And then, there's the Rainbow Effect. When I say the Rainbow Effect, I am referring to nothing more than a genuine rainbow. Rainbows can have such a beneficial impact, as can laughter, in helping our bodies and minds that we tend to believe it is so simple it could not be true. That it was just a fluke. What I have seen is this:

When you gaze upon a rainbow, it generally puts the person in a state of awe and awareness. The gaze is so focused that you tend to forget any troubles or pains you may have. It is magical in the way a rainbow can affect the mind. If you have ever seen a rainbow in the sky with no indication of rain, it is even more intriguing, and we tend to stay mesmerized with the site. I have seen this happen twice, once in the last month. And once in 2007.
