Most Americans don't really read the labels on the food products they buy in stores. Sadly, they have no idea they are being duped by most of the large food producers, who appear to be in bed with the Food and Drug Agency of the U.S.A.,(which appears to have no interest whatsoever in public health) and also in bed with the drug companies and Monsanto.
How can I say this? Pretty simple really. Read the labels, and you will understand. How many food products can you go into a store like Safeway for instance, and find no artificial anything on the label? Not many. I'm not intentionally picking on Safeway. It's the food conglomerates I'm picking on. That, and the FDA for letting those conglomerates get away with the damage they are doing to the public in the name of profits.
Getting to the headline of this blog, which asked where all the blueberries went, is a short video that may just open your eyes much wider than you thought they could go. And....the video is almost exactly true. Almost, with the exception of implying Target stores actually make the food products they sell. Otherwise, yes, I have to agree completely. Here is the link to that story. It would be a good idea to watch this, and share it with anyone you know. It may save someone's life, or at least prevent some very uncomfortable conditions, such as MS, diabetes, parkinsons, etc. And no, I'm not kidding here. The foods you eat, and the drugs you take, are largely responsible for you getting these issues.
