There are always exceptions, but all are still in this to make money. I have no problem with making a profit. Just don't do it at someone else's expense.
In a past blog I wrote that MSG, NutraSweet and other chemicals are generally hidden with other labeling on the package, such as the term "Natural Flavoring", "Parabens", "Phenylalanine", and more. Here is a good story on NutraSweet. Well worth reading.
Did you know?
Propylene Glycol, which is in a large amount of food and drug products, is a known carcinogen, and can kill in small doses? Yet...the FDA doesn't tell you. It is stated on the FDA website though.
The term "Derived From Natural Sources" actually means this is a chemical. ~ Journal of biochemical and biophysical methods ISSN 0165-022X
Corn Syrup is very harmful to your health. This is just one of thousands of articles written which show this. Splenda is equally as dangerous, if not more so. It is 75% chlorine. Chlorine KILLS. Please read this story, by Dr Janet Starr Hull
Using natural products such as Xylitol or Stevia as sweeteners is far better than using Corn Syrup, NutraSweet, MSG, or Sugar. Xylitol and Stevia will both help the body rather than hurt it. The others listed here will only hurt the body, and never help it. Sugar, as has been stated in the last couple of months by me, is the prime fuel for all cancers. Particularly, refined sugars.
You would have to learn to use Stevia. It is a very natural plant, but is extremely sweet. Meaning, if you use much more than necessary, your food won't taste all that good. It is, depending on refinement, up to 200 times sweeter than sugar.
Xylitol, like Stevia, is neither harmful to the health, nor do either cause candida overgrowth, which the other 5 listed ingredients will. Nor does either of those feed the harmful bacteria in the mouth.
We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future. – George Bernard Shaw, 1856-1950, Irish Dramatist and Literary Critic
