Your Body May Be Crying For Water. But Are You Listening?

Many people think they get enough liquids in their diets by consuming small amounts of water, perhaps soft drinks, coffee, even teas. But are they? When your body requires water, it wants water. As countless research studies have shown us over the years, consuming soft drinks does nothing to satisfy your water requirements. Nor does drinking coffee. For me, drinking teas is a questionable method, though I've seen more than one study that said drinking tea did not qualify as a true water source.

The body is dehydrated usually for awhile before the thirst mechanism is realized. So by the time you get your glass of water, you are already dehydrated. Did you know....a 2% drop in your body's water supply will induce fatigue? Did you know, not enough water can help create symptoms such as migraines, dry skin, weight gain and constipation?

I invite you to read this article from Dr Mercola on the water situation that we should all be aware of.
