Do Your Kids Sit Around Too Much?

Believe it or not, most American children anymore are not in shape. 30 years ago, long before cell phones, wii's, nintendo, computers and I-Pods, we actually went outside to play most of the time when the weather permitted. So we as children, for the most part, stayed in shape. Exceptions to everything of course.

Since it's not likely that children are apt to get back into that mode, since the current generation usually hasn't learned it, one way to help is to get them the first fitness game for the Wii, called Nikelodeon Fit. Amazon ranks this at 137 in video games. And it does help keep them in shape. If your kids like to dance, this might be another method of getting their weight off and toning their muscles.
