Deficiency of a Vitamin

Biotin, a B vitamin(B8), is not only beneficial, but required in the body. It is water soluble, meaning you will not overdose on it, since the body will eliminate what it cannot use.

Deficiencies of Biotin include:
~Seizures
~Cramps
~Skin Rashes
~Failing eyesight
~Heart problems
~Inability of the body to properly process fats and sugars
~Both diabetes and hypoglycemia
~Hair Loss
~Lack of muscle coordination
~Other skin conditions

There are many more health issues directly related to a biotin deficiency. Just do a Google search find more info. Ideally, use this, as with any vitamin or mineral, in a synergistic method. In other words, they are best used from whole foods, not so much from supplementation. Always exceptions of course.

Foods that have biotin include nuts and nut butters, eggs, onions, carrots, romaine lettuce, brewers yeast, raspberries, strawberries, and spirulina. Spirulina appears to have if not the highest, one of the highest biotin contents.

Spirulina
, like Chlorella, have been used for thousands of years; discovered from the earliest of recorded histories. Both are used by peoples to reverse and negate radiation poisoning, as was noted in Japan and Russia, with the Hiroshima bombing and the Chernobyl disaster.
