Disease In The House?

Can disease be lurking in your house, without your knowledge? Yes. It may be found as mold lurking most anywhere, from the bathroom to the basement, to the carpeting in your bedroom. Mold is another word for fungus.

Since household mold was addressed in a previous post, this posting is on your personal mold. Yes, you may be harboring mold in your body, and it's all too common; you may not even guess it is there. You know it's there is you have a health issue such as diabetes. And there are scores more health problems where mold, or at least, the milder form, candida, is at the root of the problem.

One of the best, and perhaps the easiest and non-invasive methods of addressing this issue is to start consuming herbs or teas, or therapeutic quality essential oils that are known to help the body better attack fungus issues. There are actually quite a few of these, and if you do have a fungal issue in the body(mold is termed as a fungal issue when it's inside the body, and generally as a mold issue when it's outside the body), it would be wise to consume teas or oils at least twice daily, or use the oils topically twice or more daily.

Using aromatherapy internally is not generally recommended if you have no idea what you are doing, since you may experience certain discomforts doing this, or, depending on what brand of oils you are using, they may be chemicals, which will do you potentially, much more harm than good.

Just a few of the common essential oils known to be anti-fungal include:

1. Oregano oil(this one is hot, better to use on the bottom of the feet rather than internally, unless you buy it is an enteric coated capsule)
2. Cinnamon Bark oil. The bark is different than the leaf, and the leaf is considerably less money. The bark is more potent on mold.
3. Clove oil. The first two oils listed are hotter than this one. You can take this one as a therapeutic quality internally, but when starting out, never take more than 3 drops of any of these, as the detox may cause you to feel very sick.
4. Geranium oil. This one has the added benefit of helping detox the liver.
5. Thyme oil. Not as hot as the first 3 oils, but slightly warm. A moderately potent anti-fungal.
6. Pine oil. This one is an all around first aid type oil, as well as being anti-fungal.
7. Frankincense oil. This one as a therapeutic oil is fairly expensive in comparison to the rest, just to let you know.
8. Lemongrass oil. This is a powerful anti-fungal and digestive aid. Getting this oil on your hands will stain you yellow for several hours.

There are more oils than these that are anti-fungal, but I'm attempting to keep this post shorter rather than longer.

Some herbs/foods that are anti-fungal include:
1. Licorice
2. Olive leaf
3. Pau d'Arco
4. Turmeric
5. Black Walnut Hulls
6. Chapparal
7. Garlic
8. Chamomile
9. Goldenrod
